Generation 1 - Part 3: The Silence Grew

As life continued, it became more and more obvious that Serena was indeed pregnant. The resentment kept growing, along with her belly, both blaming each other for the mess they were in.

Though every now and then, you could see on their faces they were just sad and hoping for a solution.

But chores still had to be finished, and the weeks went by without the two saying more then two words to each other. Both absorbed in their own feelings of sorrow and regret.

And how hard they wished for it, they could not stop the day coming closer that they would not be with just the two of them anymore.

And that day came sooner then they expected........

While Avian was working in their garden (and basically ignoring Serena again), Serena started to feel cramps in her belly. She knew what was happening, and she decided to sit it out and see what happened.

The moment she hold their baby in her arms for the first time................She was absolutely disgusted! She couldn't bear the sight of him and hold him away from her as far as possible.

With the baby born she hoped that she and Avian could finally get back to their lives as it was. But she couldn't have been more wrong.
Night after night the baby lied there in his crib crying, keeping Serena and Avian awake. Neither of them willing to do something about it.

Frustrations grew, with every night that went by. The solution to their argument seemed further away then ever. And both Serena and Avian were at a loss. They figured it would be enough to occasionally feed the baby and change its diaper.........but they never realized how tiring it would be and how much it would add to their already unsolved issues.

But as the baby grew older, Serena and Avian started to get used to the broken nights. They also managed to continue their work, despite the baby crying all the time, and slowly started talking again.

And all the time the baby was somewhere in the house, waiting for someone to pick him up.

With Serena and Avian talking again, it was inevitable that their issues became subject of their conversation again. With them both being able to think about it and cool down, the conversation went without harsh words and accusations.

Serena couldn't hide her surprise when Avian started to take the blame for their argument: "I shouldn't have come at you so hard, but i was just so shocked! I was afraid all your attention would go to the baby, and you wouldn't have time for me anymore".

"Could you please, please, please forgive me?? I hate the way we're treating each other the last few months, i can't stand the silence and the tension, please???"

"Calm down hun, calm down, I know it was a shock reaction back then. I already realized i had the time to adjust since my suspicions started growing. You never had that oppertunity".

"I forgive you, love," she whispered into his ear, shocked with relief that after more then a year of silence they would be finally able to continue their lives as they had always planned to.

  1. Some notes:

so heres another short chapter :D i think i am going to make that my trademark, "a short chapter story by Klevkin".

Ugh, i have been struggling on how to get them into a good relationship again.....and all those arguments i had them have before i got some nice pics didn't make their relationship in game any better either. But i managed :) i thought it would be fair to put the blame with Avian :) cause he was the one who lost it, though i did give him some leeway by letting her acknowledge the time she had to get used to that on her own :).

Anyways :) got one more chapter picture ready :) so gonna work on that before i can go and make some progress in game again :)

  2. I still don't think a guy like him would take the blame like that lol. But then again, he could have a secret heart :P

  3. rofl :D perhaps it is my wish if guys like him would do that more often whahaha, i do think it fits in his backgroundstory thouhg, because he always wanted attention, but never got it, he got quite good at groveling for it :)
And i think she is stronger then i let show, she has a history of denying the attention and love from people who loved her (i think).....

kind of hart creating characters and sticking to it lol

  4. I really loved Serena's reaction to holding her baby for the first time. And the pic of the baby on the floor in the puddle, that was classic.
You are doing a marvelous job with the Deadbeat parents roll.

  5. Great job yet again Klev. Although, very sad. Poor kid; not getting any attention from his parents. I wonder if Avian will ever realize that he is doing to his child what was done to him (withholding affection/attention) except his son doesn't have siblings to blame... his parents just simply don't want him. *sad face*

  6. I'm finding the characters really convincing in terms of the reason for deadbeat parents although I feel really sorry for the kid (have they even named him?)
