3.21 I decreed for this world to wear Violet!

"So how is Sidney doing? Haven't seen her around in a while..."
Rafe thought that doing his homework in the bathroom would keep him safe from his grandparents. His parents were to busy with each other now that his plan worked out, so he thought he'd get some rest from his father asking him about almost every detail of his life. Annoyingly enough, his grandfather felt the need to tell his grandmother about Sidney, and now he had his grandfather at night to bug him, and his grandmother during the day.

"I'm doing my homework grandma, I'm not in the mood to discuss the lack of presence of one of my supposed to be friends."

"Rafe your grandfather thinks," Danya gets interrupted by a chirping noise coming from Rafe's pocket. He pulls out his phone, looks at the screens and puts it back in his pocket, still chirping.

Rafe let out a sigh, "my grandfather is dead, I'm sorry to say so, but he has no right what so ever to butt into my life..." Danya raised her eyebrows, Rafe has never shown an attitude like this before, this girl must have really hurt his feelings.

"Well, all we were thinking was that she might have broken it off with Emmet and that's why she is calling you constantly..." And before Rafe could say anything to that she stood up from the floor and left to get rid of her last dying apple tree.

Her grandson got her distracted though, on the way out he walked over to her and tucked her shirt. So she picked him up and put him on the play ride in the yard. She could never refuse her grandsons wish to play with him. But after a while she looked at her watch, "come Luke, time to go inside!"

Luke crossed his arms and looked away, "No". She remembered this with her own children, it was the moment she'd normally wished she'd never had taught them how to talk, cause by that time all they could say was "no". "Come on Luke, there's going to be cake inside!"

She knew that would make him less likely to throw a fit, though his face clearly told her she'd better not be pulling his leg. She smiled hoping it would be a long time before Luke would be able to tell her that straight to her face.

Luke tried though, "me cake! no ride!" he said while looking very angry. Danya couldn't help herself and laughed "you just keep in mind who is stronger and bigger right now love."

When Danya finally managed to get Luke inside for his cake it was already starting to get dark. But Luke was still wide awake and excited to see there actually was a cake waiting for him.

As Luke blew out the candles he wished he'd get to ride the play-ride for as long as he wanted to though.

When the sparkles faded away, Luke came out looking pretty pleased with himself. Even though he could not quite understand why his mother fainted at the sight of him growing up. Danya tried to assure him. "don't worry Luke, she'll be okay, she's just a bit taken aback by the fact that she is growing older as well I think..."

After Luke had finished his cake, the play-ride was forgotten. Who would want to ride that when you have to whole of the world to preside over, and he knew just the thing this world should do.

"I decreed for this whole world to wear Violet! At all times of the day!"

Madeline enjoyed watching her son play out his fantasy and played along, not knowing she would soon regret this moment, "and let the whole world do as King Luke decreeds!"

Luke rushed off after his mom said that, the King should always be the one to set a good example.

Right :D I got my flow back, sort of... I just love Luke and Danya, she actually took him to ride that thing a lot. And then it would always end like this, danya would take him off, and then straight away put him back on it again....right, good parenting Danya. Luke's favorite color is violet btw..

So next chapter I hope to reveal how it ends with Sidney and Rafe. Honestly, I have no clue myself yet, It all depends on Sidney....

oh and for laughs, Luke enjoyed pushing Danya around :D
