2.3 It was meant to be

Before Boy loses his courage he crosses the street and introduces himself to her. "Hello, I'm Boy, I don't think I have ever seen you here before, are you new in town?" Right away Boy realizes he's blabbering and just said the lamest pick-up line ever!

Noticing his insecurity she smiles and introduces herself, "Nice to meet you, I'm Danya, and yes, I am new here." Boy smiles back at her, whatever that jolt was he felt when he saw her, he can see she feels the same.

Before they both even realize it, they spend almost an hour just talking on the street, about nothing really. They seem to hit it off right away, so when Boy notices it's getting dark, he is really disappointed that he has to break up this conversation, but as he explains to Danya, he has a dog and a pup at home. He can't leave them alone for to long or the pup will tear up his furniture.

Danya understands and reluctantly says goodbye to him, but not before she invites him to come over to this little party she is having to meet some neighbors later that week. While heading home, Boy can't even remember why he went out in the first place.

All week the tension for her party has been killing her. While doing some last preparations, she wondered if Boy would really show up, or if he had only been nice to the new girl on the block. With her luck, it would probably be the last, she had always been a cast out, why would it be any different now. Why would she find that one guy on her first day in town?

But when Boy finally did arrive, she was relieved and all her doubts and fears just went through the backdoor of her mind.

Boy felt a strange sensation going through him when he noticed that Danya had been tense. He wondered if he was the cause.

It didn't take them long before they once again felt at ease with each other. They spend all night talking, laughing and flirting. Danya almost forgot she had more then one guest.

"Ehm Boy, I have to go and talk to the other guests as well...you know, since it is my party, I can't just let them be.." Boy shrugs, "well, the other option is letting me be, can you do that to me?" Danya smiles at Boy, and when Boy smiles back at her, she turns around to mingle with the other guests. Boy sighs, but he knows she's right, so he went to sit on the couch and talk to Seirian, whom he had a date with a few weeks ago.

But when all the guests were gone, Boy saw his chance and took her outside to watch the stars. He looked at her hand and was wondering if she'd mind if he'd put his hand over hers. The butterflies in his stomach kept fluttering about.

He put his hand on hers, trying to act nonchalant, while Danya blushed as he did so.

And while they continued to watch the stars, both were thinking about how this must have been meant to be.

The party invitation actually came a few simhours after they had met on the streets, and it turned out pretty good :D And yes, that was Avian in the background of that one picture! Oh!! I got one more picture to show haha, I laughed so hard at the following expression of Boy!

He looks as if he knows he's gonna score (which he didn't btw, took him days before he did!) His expressions crack me up :D perhaps i have never payed attention to it before, but I never noticed sims being so full of diff expressions :D and the two of them are just adorable, they keep looking so cute at each other!
