2.8 Running Home

When the party came to an end, Danya decided her brother had to go to bed, he would spend the night in their bed, Boy offered to take the couch, and Danya thought she might snuggle up on the couch with him.
She had missed her brother so much, it had been the hardest decision ever to leave him behind when she ran away from her mom. But she knew she would never get away with taking Lee along. He was just a toddler when she left. When she offered to read him a bed time story, Lee jumped into bed and couldn't wait for her to get the book. It only took a few minutes before the boy was fast asleep. He had been all worn out.

When she got back to the living room, Boy had already brought Derrick to bed, and was waiting for her on the couch. She cuddled up next to him, feeling content with how the day went. Some small things were still bothering her though. "How did you get my mum to let Lee stay here the night?" Boy's smile fades away "ehm, well, I didn't, I kind of "found" Lee on the streets..."

"You're joking right?" Danya asks Boy while looking up at him. "No, I'm not...I told you when he came in, when I walked home, I saw Lee sitting on this bench in town." Danya got confused, "but I've never shown any pictures of him, how would you know it was my babybrother?" "Think love, you told me you and your brother are both clones of your mum, so when I saw this boy, out on the streets at a time he shouldn't be, with the same hair color you have, and the same lost look on his face you get when you think about your past, I just knew it had to be your brother." "What on earth was Lee doing there, and what happened to my mum?" Danya asked while cuddling up to Boy again.

"Well when I said his name, he was scared at first, because I knew his name, but when I explained who I was, he told me he had been looking for you. Apparently, when you left, your mum lost it, she went crazy with experiments and most of them she tried out on herself. Well, lets just say, one of them ended very badly." "She...she died? Poor Lee! And he has been looking for me ever since? I always thought he would be to young to remember me..."

"He has missed you, you know. Even though he can't remember you vividly, he does have some recollections of you putting him to bed, singing to him and reading him stories. Also your mum talked about you to herself, so he knew he had a big sister. I talked with him for a bit, and then I explained him I'd love to take him home, but I wanted it to be a surprise. Besides the kid was so tired, he had to find some rest before being able to face you. So I asked Julliet if she could have him for the night and bring him in when she'd go to our party, the rest you know of course."

Danya looked up at him again, "so what happens now, Lee has no home with my mum gone." "Well, I was thinking, we always talked about adopting children, but so far we haven't done so yet. We could ask city council if we can take Lee into our custody?" "Would you do that? Take Lee in?" "Of course, I liked the kid right away, and I love to see you happy. I know you have been missing him a great deal, even though you have never said it." "Does Lee know yet?" "No, I haven't discussed this with him yet, I thought perhaps you should be the one to ask him if he wants us to."

Danya sighs "I love you so much." Boy chuckles, "well, the kids are asleep, why don't you show me how much you love me...?"

Okay :) a very short, but wordy chapter. Sorry for the boring pics, but it felt like the subject was closed after this conversation, and it feels weird for me to start a new subject in the same chapter. I don't know why, but it just feels weird......

Anyhow, some legacy notes, Boy reached Department Head (5) for the bussiness career. Danya is registered as a gardener, but has a slow start. I'm not sure about who is going to be the heir yet, I want it to be biological, but I rolled for the 2nd, and I am a bit neurotic when it comes to things I decided. So either I decided it's the second oldest child over all (making Derrick the heir) or I decide it will be the second born biological child (as a little bird whispered to me was an option as well), which makes the child not born yet (well in game it is :P).

As for the social bunny bit, Boy's Christmas party with work was his outing for that week, the third. I believe I have him go out on more occasions then necessary though. I never did let my sims go out, but I'm starting to like it haha. And the born with it, well I haven't changed a bit about him :) he's still the same.

As for my pets goal, I keep forgetting to let Tiny go and find gems and stuff, I might skip the goal, it's quite busy, managing everything and keeping them happy!
