2.5 No wedding bells?

With them both having had rough youths, neither of them wanted there parents to be present. So they agreed to meet on the beach and make it a private happening just for the two of them. They had thought about inviting some friends, but then they realized they would be much happier with just the two of them. It would allow them to be selfish and enjoy each others company without having to entertain their guests. They would make up with their friends by throwing a party later on.

When Danya holds up the ring, Boy is still shocked that his life would turn out to be this good.

While putting the ring on his finger she tells him what she feels: "You my love, are my fate and destiny. I trust you with the whole of my heart and body, I count on you to prove me wrong when I feel the future is grim, just as you did when you asked me to be your wife. In return I will be here to surprise you, catch you off guard and keep you safe whenever you need to. I will love you always."

"Danya, you changed my life, you showed up when all seemed pointless, from the moment I saw you it was as if there was a light shining in my heart, showing me the way back. When you leave, the light dims, I feel lost when you are not around. I trust you to keep me safe and that you will always be my light to keep me from getting lost. In return I promise to love you and cherish you for the rest of our lives, and even longer. I will love you always."

Then they just stood there for a while, holding hands and gazing into each others eyes, enjoying the fact that they were now married and truly belonged to each other.

After the kiss they went home. They decided Danya would move her stuff in Boy's apartment. So during the weeks following their engagement they had both been busy with getting her stuff packed and this morning they moved everything over to his place.
They planned of staying there until it was needed to get a bigger house. But for now, this would make do they thought.

But when Danya stepped out of the elevator she felt weird. It was as if a little voice inside of her told her she was expecting. But she hadn't been feeling sick, though as she looked down, she realized her tummy had been growing a bit. Lovingly she stroked her belly, trying to count back when this baby should have been conceived, and she finally decides that it has to have been their first time, in the elevator. When neither of them were patient enough to go to the bedroom, they both weren't patient enough to take care of conception either.

So the next morning, even before Boy was able to take his seat at the breakfast table, Danya decides to bring the news with a little bit of tact. So instead of saying what she wants to say, she starts the conversation with saying: "Ehm, hun? How would you feel about moving to a house now?"

With the morning not being his best time of day, Boy gets a bit cranky. "Seriously, we have just been busy all day yesterday moving your stuff in here, and now you say you want to move again? Why didn't you just say so in the first place! I wouldn't have mind if you wanted to go to a house right away, but I thought we both agreed to stay here until we had a bit more money to go with and there was a good reason for us to move!" Boy never expected his marriage to be without fights, but he never expected their first real fight to come the morning after they exchanged their rings.

Not sure how she should respond to this she said: "Can't we discuss this with a normal voice? There is no need at all to start arguing right away you know."

"Well what do you want me to say then, Yes sure, lets go move, I know we did yesterday but I enjoyed it so much I'd be happy to do it again just because you want me to? I'm confused, I thought we had this all planned out?"

Realizing she started this conversation wrong, she stood up, took his hands and pulled him up as well.

"I know we planned everything, but you know, sometimes things just don't go as planned...Or perhaps only a little faster then planned..." Danya looks at him, hoping he can fill in the blanks for himself, that she won't have to spell it out.

When he doesn't fill in the blanks, she starts to wonder if he would be happy with the news. Because, wasn't it obvious what she was trying to say? He can't be that thick can he? You would think that if he wanted children, he'd know what she meant.

"Well, happy or not, he has to know!" She thinks, so she decides to stop beating around the bush and just blabs: "I'm pregnant! We are going to have a baby!"

"You what...we are...what?!?" Danya smiles as she thinks "Just thick it is then, must be a man thing..."

"Wow! That is awesome! Sure, sure, let's move!" Boy shouts, "Ehm Danya...can we still ehm...now that your pregnant and all..." Danya giggles, "Of course we can you silly boy!" "Well then! What are we waiting for, let's go and celebrate."

And celebrate they did.

-------------------------------------notes and close-up---------------------------------
Doesnt Boy look sheepish when she holds up the ring?? he has the weirdest expressions!

Danya did get pregnant on their first woohoo, i didn't intend them to, but i replaced all woohoo with risky, so  it was indeed an accident.....thats why i hurried them along with the marriage etc. But seriously, all this happened within a day of them leaving the elevator, so i wasn't expecting her to show so soon (though a little bird whispered in my ear that it is quite normal they show after a day lol). But she did......so there we go, moving in next chapter.....(we had to anyways, cause second career is farmer, apartment equals no garden......so this is a good excuse :P)

And just because i love Boy's expression so much when he hears the news, here's a close up:
