Generation 1 - Part 11: We Are Not Amused

"Remind me again..." Serena said, "why did we bring the boy along with us??" "Because if we left him behind, he would have told the cops everything, and then there would be no place on the world where we would be save. At least now we have managed to minimize the damage." explained Avian.

Truth be told, they both didn't want to admit, that even though they never wanted him in their lives, they have grown accustomed to him being around. After all, it was better to throw their irritations, bad mood swings and anger at him, then at each other.

And while Avian and Serena were sulking inside, Boy spend all of his time outside, standing by the side of their new home, staring in the distance for days now, with Buddy by his side, as always...

"Come on Boy," Buddy says,"she isn't gonna show, how on earth do you think she'll be able to find us??"

"No Buddy! I just know she will!! Just give her some time, i'm not giving up on her!"

"She just has to come," he mumbles to himself "she just has to! I don't know what i'd do without her!" Boy stares in the distance again. And a bit disgruntled, Buddy decides to stay by his side.

Boy would spend every waking minute waiting for her, desperately trying not to think of the possibility that she doesn't show up. That she won't make it.

Until one morning, he saw a spot in the distance, getting closer and closer. Could it be? Could it really be her?

They both stood still for a minute, while their joy and relieve at seeing each other again sank in.

"You're a good girl Tiger, yes you are!" Boy said to the dog "You found me! I knew you would! I just knew you wouldn't leave me!" And while Boy and Tiger relieved their joy by hugging and playing with each other, Buddy turned her back on them, wishing that Tiger had never showed up on that graveyard all those years ago.

Boy isn't such a good actor...really... he screws up every now and then:

"Way to go on the sad face Boy! You're supposed to be grieving over the possible loss of your  best friend ever!"

"Well you try to keep a straight face with that thing behind you overacting!"

  3. Aww, so sweet. I always thought Serena and Avian were oblivious to their treatment because they only cared about each other, but their run from the police certainly suggests otherwise!

  4. I like to think they were to :) (cause i still can't grasp my brain around the idea of people consciously neglecting and abusing their children)I think the officer opened their eyes, because they were after all telling her what was happening in their house, if they had known it was wrong, they wouldn't have told i think :)
