2.7 Merry Christmas to All!

!Warning! This chapter may contain some pics that explain the art of...oh well, y'all have been warned!

With Christmas nearly on their doorstep, the days of the Crist family are filled with work, taking care of Derrick, the dogs and decorating the house.

But even though their days are quite busy, they enjoy there lives and have never felt so blessed. Living on the beach, having a gorgeous son and two dogs that are a real edition to their family. Boy never forgets how much Tiger was there for him when he grew up. He always finds the time to enjoy a nice game of fetch with her.

Tiny grows out of her name while going out for a pee. Besides those moments, she is not leaving Derrick's side. Not even when Danya tries to lure here with some extra treats. She and Boy discussed this behavior, not knowing if they should do something with this. But they decided to let it be, Tiger showed up for Boy as if she was meant to be with Boy, they think Tiny might have been meant for Derrick all this time.

Shortly after Tiny grew up, it was time for Derrick as well. As sworn when he was a kid, he had not only got him a cake, he spend all day trying to bake one! Until Danya took over because, well, she's just better at  baking cake. Both were ecstatic to see their little angel growing up.

"Oeh sparkles!" Derrick thinks, as he starts to wave at them. Danya takes one look at her boy, and then she realizes it's time to get him a haircut. She never though about futile things like that, never realized that her baby needed to get his hair cut.

When she tells Boy she can cut Derricks hair herself, Boy picks Derrick up and hold him close while whispering just loud enough for Danya to hear: "don't worry kiddo, you're mom will do more things like that when you grow up, it's best to just let it come at you, just remember, no matter how you look, I will always love you!" Danya gives Boy a skeptical look.

When Danya is finished with Derrick he decides to go and discover the world, ehm, his nose. "I'm gonna get you, I'm gonna get you, I'm gonna get you," he thinks while digging deep.

"Got ya!!"

"Huh? Where did you go?"

"Oeh doggie!!"

With Derrick's birthday behind them, Boy decides to go crazy and decorates the house for Christmas before he goes out to the Christmas party his colleagues organized at work. The partners are invited as well, but after Boy went a bit overboard with the decorations, there is no money left to pay for a babysitter. Besides, Danya has reassured him that she is all worn out and wants to go to bed early, after all, tomorrow is Christmas day, and the Crist family has decided to throw a party for their friends and she is not planning on heading in early on that day. Boy knows she has been having a hard time lately, but can't really put a finger on it.

Boy gets through the evening by playing the foosball-table with one of his collegues until it is pretty much okay to leave the party.

He decides to walk home, Danya is in bed, and so is Derrick, so he can take it easy and just enjoy the wonders of this evening. While doing so he spots something across the street on a bench. Gazing at it for sometime, thinking, he decides he has to act, he crosses the street, knowing he just came across the perfect "gift" for Danya.

Having made arrangements with one of his colleagues for his "gift" to arrive at their party tomorrow, he finally heads home and heads to bed.

The first day of Christmas starts of slowly. Boy enjoy's himself with "keeping Derrick busy", as he explained to Danya, while Danya preps the house for their party. Boy gets nervous when she starts cleaning everything, so he offered to keep Derrick "out of her way" without any hesitations.

In the afternoon the first guests start to arrive.

Danya is entertaining the guests, and while she is enjoying herself, she can't help but feel a bit empty inside.

When the party is nicely on its way, the last missing guest, a colleague of Boy, shows up. Boy takes her aside and asks her if everything went okay. She nodded and told him that everything was set, he should get Danya in place.

So while the guests continue dancing, Boy takes Danya close: "I love you so much," he says softly," but I know you have felt bad about your past..." Danya smiles and tries to deny that this has been bothering her, but Boy doesn't give her the chance, "So when I walked home yesterday," "You WALKED home?? No wonder you were late!!" "Shhh women, let me finish, as I was saying, when I was walking home, I came across something, and I just knew this would make you feel so much better..." Danya looks puzzled, and as they hear the front door opening, Boy turns her around to face the door.

There they see a little boy walking in with greenish hair and a sad, nervous look on his face.

When Danya holds her breath, Boy steps aside to let her be. The child is not sure where to look, still nervous and worried.

But when he does look up, a hopeful, perhaps begging look in his eyes, Danya can't restrain herself any longer.

"LEE!!" she screams as she runs towards him and takes him in his arms.

Boy picks up Derrick and stands to look at Danya and Lee and their happy reunion. Boy was happy he had been able to lighten Danya's mood by bringing her baby-brother back into her life!

Well in reality, i had to have them hug several times before i got it right, but they got bored with it hahaha, and it was the end of the party, so everyone was tired, I had to get them out of bed several times to get everyone where i wanted them to be!!

But anyways!!
