2.15 Oh the Teenage Drama!

After the twins grew up, they both expressed the wish to paint like their dad, so they got their very own easels and Boy took on the duty to teach them how to paint properly, "Now listen, it's best to start of with something simple. Try a mountain, some sky and some bushes.....like mine." Secretly he was flattered with their children wanting to do the same as he, it was clear from the beginning though who inherited his dads artistic talent.

And while Boy is feeling at ease with the duties of parenthood, Derrick is feeling quite insecure while trying out his own duties of parenthood. His daughter Sabrina was born only a few hours ago, Derrick still can't get over how strong Angel has been through it all, so while she is resting upstairs in her bedroom, Derrick is feeling overwhelmed by the responsibility for such a fragile little baby. "Mum! I don't know what to do! She's so small, what if I break her!" "Derrick believe me, you're chance of breaking your own bones is bigger then breaking one of Sabrina's. Those little ones are flexible, as long as you don't drop her and support her head, she'll be fine."

And after those helpful tips from his mother, he finally manages to hold her properly, and even cuddle with her a bit. The next day at school he can't stop boosting about his little girl, after of course explaining all the horrors of watching someone give birth. His classmates just look at each other, thinking "We'll make sure we will never get into this kind of mess!"

With Derrick at Angels place mostly to spend time with his daughter, Ryan finds himself doing his homework all by himself. He would have tried to hang out with Sirra more, were it not that she made a new BFF at school. Apparently, she and her dad just moved in from out of the country, and Sirra felt the need to make her feel at home.
Ryan is not sure how to handle this solitude. He has been so used to being around a lot of people. He's not at all happy with him being the only one doing his homework. At least his mum is home, but she's in the garden, if only he could get her attention...

So when he's finished his homework, he gets up from his chair, checks where his mum is at, and gives a showcase of his best acting talents. His flair for drama sure comes in handy right now.

But at the peak of his performance, the falling down without hurting himself, he spots his father walking in from the corner of his eye. Knowing there could be trouble now, he realizes he'd better make this look as real as possible, because if his father finds out he's faking it...well lets just say he remembers his father yelling at Derrick very vividly.

But all his father does is take one look at him, and then chuckle while continuing on to the refrigerator. "Really son, you should become an actor, you're pretty good at it!"
Ryan sits up and looks at his dad, "what gave me away then, if I'm pretty good at it, I'll need to perfect it I guess." "I saw that you were paying attention to me when I walked in. People who are passing out normally don't notice what happens around them while falling down..." "Damnit!" Ryan bursts out, Boy looks at him "I don't want to hear that sort of language from you! If people give you advice, use it to your advantage and learn from it." Ryan stands up muttering and runs of to pump some iron.

Later that evening at diner, "whats up with pumping that iron lately bro? are you trying to look good for a special girl?" As Ryan decides it's best to ignore his dumbfounded sister, she starts giggling.

Axel looks up, sweet and innocent as he is, "oh if you want to, I can paint her for you Ryan! That way you can look at her whenever you want!" Sirra nearly chokes on her food, "Yes," she adds while coughing her lungs out, " you could hang her portret above your bed and look at her while you're..." her sentence is interrupted by Xander who lets out a sharp scream from the other side of the room, and right on time as far as Ryan is concerned. They jump up and run to Xander to check out what's going on.

They find Xander pointing at Tiger in shock. The Reaper is standing next to him while their father is crying his eyes out.

Tiger is okay with it though, she had a good life and knows her human is being watched over by many loved ones now. They decide to put Tiger next to that dog statue no one is sure of how it got there. And she rest under a painting Boy made for this purpose of the good old outdoors.

It still hurts though.

-------------------------------------notes-------------------------------------

Ugh, I have so many happenings going on in this house atm, I don't know how to put them all into a proper storyline tbh. At first I thought it was fun, so many sims in one house, but now I realise I don't get around to doing what I like best, and thats some character for my sims. It makes playing more fun for me, so I tried to give Ryan some character in here, and I hoped it worked out at least a bit. I'm prepping him for my plot for him and of course, for his future career (though I don't think I already told people what my next roll would be :)).

Next chapter is another one filled with lots of small happenings :(

EDIT: Just realized i failed (read forgot) to post a picture of tiger, so here's a Tiger spam/ memoriam.

 Baby Tiger
Look at her being fierce and scary!
Adult Tiger keeps Boy company whiles put in Time-Out.

Tiger consoling Boy after he left his parental home.
 Tiger getting to know Tiny

At the end Tiger was barely able to walk, so she slept in the fooddispenser.

Grim is pointing at Tiger to come, she thinks about it, but she does go with him eventually.

  2. I feel I haven't been paying enough attention to the pets lately, but I actually do not have the time for them, so I do feel sorry for Tiger, but it had to come at some point, forgot to add, my first pet death, and Grims path was blocked by so many grieving sims, that he couldn't reach Tiger, so no cool animations or what ever, he just stood there, and then Tiger was an urn....

oh, and don't pay any attention to the age inconsistency in this chapter *blushes*

  3. Aww, poor Tiger. I've had similar issues with Grim not being able to do the full animation for pets, too.
