In an effort to be apart of his daughters upbringing, he decides he wants to teach her how to walk. "Come here my cutypie! That's it! I know you can do it! Your the most cutest, smartest, pretty little girl I have ever seen!" He hears Angel calling out from the kitchen "Derrick! Stop doing that, she'll grow up with an ego from here to at least half way Japan! Honestly, self esteem is a good thing, but don't overdo it."
He picks up Sabrina and while cuddling her he says softly "let you mummy yell, but she knows I'm right! You are all those things and more." "I heard that!"
Derrick is at home though for the twins birthday. He is just in time to see Axel pondering on what to wish for.
When Xander does the same over his cake, Derrick starts cheering them on, in the hopes it would hurry them up.
Axel ages up into a brave teenager, not scared of anything.
While Xander turns out to be quite eccentric.
Because Derricks reason for his impatience with the twins growing up is finally revealing itself. It is time for Derrick to become an adult, while the twins decide it's the best time to eat cake, Ryan joins the crowed and starts to cheer him on with Sirra.
Derrick doesn't change much, but he is very happy that the day he gets to move out into his own place is putting a smile on his face. Angel can't stop cheering either, trying to raise her daughter together with Derrick has not been easy with her parents looking over their shoulders. They agreed with Angel and Sabrina moving in with Derrick after his graduation, even though it takes a few more days before Angel will be an adult.
And while Derrick is getting ready to get a piece of his cake, he's sure it should taste different now, Ryan realizes that his brother and best pal is going to move out tomorrow. "Ryan, stop the drama please, you knew this day was going to come! It's not like I was around much lately..." Derrick retorts.
"I know," Ryan sniffs as Derrick walks off,"but I'm going to miss you anyways bro!" When he notices Sirra's friend behind him, he quickly drops the act though, throwing her a dazzling smile. She looks right through him though and says, "your sister told me you were quite dramatic." She smiles at him and turns around to go and chat with Sirra. "Ouch...that hit me right here," he calls after her while tapping his chest, she turns her head, and smiled at him again over his shoulder before responding to something Sirra said. Ryan walked off whisteling, "that was fun" he thought.
After graduation day, Derrick was chosen to be the one to most likely fulfill his lifetime wish, he was all set to move out. Boy and Danya gave Derrick a big hug, reluctant to let their first son go. It was different when Lee left, this was harder to accept. Boy had one more thing to tell Derrick though, "son, we will come visit you whenever we can, and if you ever need help, have questions or whatever, you will always be welcome with us. Also, for your moving out, your mother and I have been talking about this for quite some time now, but we think you should take Tiny with you. She has been sad ever since Tiger died, and she has always been more your dog, then ours. I think it would break her heart if you left her with us."
Derrick his mouth dropped. He had been thinking about Tiny, if there was one reason why he wouldn't move out, it was because he dreaded leaving Tiny behind. He gave his father another hug and then ran off to meet up with the truck that was waiting at home to move all his stuff.
With Derrick out of the house and no more pets to take care of, Boy starts to feel old. So he takes his frustrations out on the washing machine. He knows his day to age up is coming sooner rather then later, and that it is unfair to take it out on the poor washing machine, it's not like the washing machine had anything to do with it.
So he takes out the wet clothes and stuffs them in the dryer before remembering that he has to say goodbye to his children. It's the night of their prom, and Boy wonders why he has never heard Lee or Derrick about a prom. Maybe it is just something new.
Neither of the children managed to work up the courage to get a date. Though the twins never even tried, they agreed they'd have more fun going alone.
Ryan is insecure, Sirra told him her friend would be there, and she also said he should've asked her to the prom instead of bullying her about whether or not she'd be there. But Ryan just couldn't work up the courage to actually ask her.
With the children gone, Boy is putting all the books back into their room when he feels a familiar sensation coming over him. A nostalgic feeling comes along with the stars this time. He remember the first time those stars appeared, and how he was all by himself not sure of what was happening to him. Now he is on his own as well, but by choice, Danya is out visiting Derrick, and he choose not to tell her what was about to happen.
Boy ages up gracefully, it was not as horrible as he suspected it to be.
He is actually quite content with how he looks. Though he and Danya discussed him getting older, and he asked her if she was okay with him working instead of taking on a pension. He has become quite a big shot now, and he intends to reach the most he can before he retires. And he's not there yet. Suddenly he can't wait to see Danya's reaction to the new Boy.
Prom turns out to be hell and heaven at the same time. It turns out the twins couldn't do anything else but end up in dance battles and no matter if they'd win or loose, they'd still get into fights. Xander was so hot-headed, he ended up fighting three times! Even Sirra managed to get into a fight when she found out the boy she had a crush on came with someone else. It's not like she initiated it, but when she flirted with the boy, the other girl just attacked. She did manage to become prom Queen though.
Axel managed to find a date on the prom itself, he never even looked at Nichol like that, but when she grabbed him and planted a kiss on his lips, well, who can resist that? He just hopes she doesn't think they are an item now though, or perhaps she only kissed him because he was prom King.
As for Ryan, Ryan tripped and fell flat on his face, just as they were playing his favorite song. After that he got rejected by some girl he was trying to get to dance with him. But just as he was preparing to fake another passing out, he saw Sirra's friend walking towards him. She takes his hands and whispers in his ear, "I know what you are about to do, and if I were you, I wouldn't..." "Why not?" he whispers back at her, "I'm already the laughing stock of the prom, why not give it that finishing touch?" She puts her hand on his shoulder, leans towards him, and while giving him a soft kiss on his cheek she tells him "because if you pass out now, you won't be able to dance with me."
----------------------------------------------Notes--------------------------------
I had a blast with all of them going to prom :D I nearly fell of my chair laughing so hard with every pop-up that told me one of the twins got into a fight again! And yes, Sirra got one as well. Ryan actually was portrayed to be a bit of the laughing stock, so I just went with the flow :) I thought it fitted his dramatic character :). I love Ryan :)
Sabrina is such a cuty! She looks gorgeous, I'm still doubting about her being a vampire though, not sure if I'm going to get Sabrina and Angel to turn normal........or perhaps I'm going to let Angel turn Derrick, so all those Derrick lovers among you can enjoy him popping up every now and then through the generations.
Oh and as I was writing the next chapter and sorting out the screenies I took, I realized I had forgotten to mention Sirra's birthday in the previous chapter :( I am so sorry Sirra! So anyways, Sirra became a teenager as well :) here's two pictures of how pretty she became :) The top one in her prom outfit, the bottom one in her every day outfit.
So, for the people who noticed, Boy was the age mistake (I really just needed those pics in that chapter, and forgot Boy had aged up in them...), Sirra was just plainly forgotten *blushes*

: D Sabrina so pretty!
ReplyDeleteD : Bye bye Derrick
: D Ryan you so cuuuute
D : Noooo Boy! You're not allowed to age!
: D D'aaaaw. Ryan's in loooove!
Damn. This chapter was such an emotional rollercoaster!
Ryan is so funny with his dramatics, I hope his falling in love goes well.
