3.2 The End of the World

With Ryan staying at home, their old day has been secured. They do not have to worry about who will take care of them when they are not able to themselves. But Danya feels she has to give Ryan something in return. So she takes her farming up a notch. She's never done much in that field, most of the time, she had a few apple trees, of which she would sell the produce whenever they needed some extra money. Boy turned out to be quit capable of providing for the family, so the need for money went away pretty quickly. But before she and Boy grow to old, she wants to set up a nice saving account with money, so Ryan won't have to stop following his dreams. And that means, planting more trees.

But it doesn't take Ryan long to set his first footstep in the world of acting. He get's a call from his agent early in the morning, that there will be someone picking him up an hour later. His manager managed to push him forward for Background Extra. So he's not really going to get to be a background someone in a film, only the extra, for if one of the real background people fail to live up to their word. But it should be better then nothing. At least he can show himself to everyone and let them know he exists, perhaps pass out a couple of times to show his acting talent...or perhaps not? Satya did tell him people wouldn't want him for a movie if they'd think he would pass out all the time...

When they feel things are finally coming to a steady routine in their household, it is already time for Sirra to become an adult and leave the nest. Ryan isn't that excited to see another one of his siblings go. But he cheers for her anyway, he knows she is wishing that she'd become the new Star News Anchor, and he certainly hopes the best for her, even more so because she might be able to give him some good reviews when she get's to do some articles.

Danya feels sick when she thinks about her little girl going out in the big wide world, kissing guys, what she doesn't know, is that Sirra already has her mind set on someone, and that she even had her first kiss.

Ryan fears the town may be shadowed by big rain clouds from this moment on. It just can't be a good thing that Sirra gets released into the wild now that she is an adult. Pictures of apocalypses run through his mind at the sheer thought of it. When Sirra turns around with her plate of cake and sees her brother, she punches him on the shoulder, "snap out of it! the world won't come to an end when I move out.," not aware of her brothers actual thoughts. She only said it because she thought he was devastated over having to miss his little sister, and perhaps he is.

When the Crist family found out Satya her dad left for a trip to India, they invited her over to have her birthday at their place as well. She arrived shortly after Sirra aged up to have her own birthday party. Ryan is overly enthusiastic to see his one and only true love age up to the legal age.

She's quite content to have aged up as well. Ryan is tired as hell though, and decides to take his downstairs for some rest.

But not after welcoming her to his bedroom in a proper, hopelessly romantic way.

The next day is graduation day for both Ryan and Sirra. Satya is graduating as well, but her father returned early that morning to see her graduate.

Ryan gets granted with the award for "Most Likely to Become a Sports Star". Sirra get's voted to be "Most Likely to Take Over the World". When Ryan hears them call that out, he scoffs "didn't I say so! It's the end of the world!". Satya gets "Most Likely to be Mediocre", and she is perfectly happy with that.

Later that evening, after Sirra moved out to her new apartment, Ryan calls up Satya and asks her to meet him at this new little establishment that opened its doors a few days before. "Why did you want to meet me here Ryan? What's going on?"

"Nothing really, I just wanted to give you this gift for you graduation and wanted to show you around here a bit...Let's go over there, to that fountain."

"Ehm Ryan, what are you doing?" He had been studying for this all day while lifting those boxes with junk Sirra wanted to take along, "Satya, you know that since the moment I first laid eyes on you I felt this connection, and like no one else, you are able to look right through me, know what I feel, what I want and what I need. I love you, I love you for your level headiness, for your down to earth approach of things and I feel that we are soul mates."

"The way you and I connect, the way I just know when you enter a room, the way I miss you when you are not around, I love you so much, would you please do me the honor and marry me?"
"Oh my! Really? Oh yes yes yes yes!"

While Satya is checking out her ring, Ryan reminds her "you do remember that my parents come along with the deal right? I promised my dad I would take care of them..." "Yes I remember that you were planning to beg your parents to be able to stay so you could become an actor, I already said that I love your parents and that I don't mind."
"So tell me, why did you bring me here?" Satya asks while hugging him, "well, I don't know if you noticed, but were in the yard of a nice little wedding chapel, I was kind of hoping this could be the place we'd get married."

  3. Well technically, I hadn't moved her in for this chapter yet, I already made all those pics before the trouble began.....

I'm not completely out of it yet though, every now and then the error 12 pops up again, or the game just crashes to desktop, been getting some error reports, so I am now waiting for Twallan to tell me if that's the cause.

  4. Oh Ryan <3. Such a hopeless romantic, eh?

I agree that Satya is beautiful, and I can't wait to see their child.
